Pours a turbid and hazy orange with two hearty fingers of white foam on top. Head retention is fantastic, with great lacing left behind. Aroma is spiced hops right from the bottle opening. Spiced hops, rye, Belgian yeast, and wheat round this out nicely, giving it a semi-dry, crisp aroma. Flavor profile is spicy hops and rye. As the rye quickly cuts away, the Belgian yeast, and clove show themselves. Mouth feel is smooth, and crisp with a medium-thick consistency. Overall, the spicy hops give this farmhouse a unique twist, landing the flavor profile somewhere between farmhouse and rye ale. Still, the look and feel would suggest it's a hearty farmhouse ale. Well done.
