Poured from a bottle into a tulip.
Pours a hazy, early cloudy, pale gold. Limited head but solid lacing.
Aromas of banana, lemon, orange rind, white pepper, white grape, tangy wheat, and biscuity/doughy malts. Grass and funk in the background.
The brew delivers a solid tart tang at the outset, both lemongrass and wheat. Some orange zest and rind. White pepper, white wine, cider, and some faint banana notes as well. As the brew warms, the acidity takes over a bit, and the brew loses some of its complexity, although the wine and cider become more prominent, and a bit of brine quality arrives.
The brew's tart character makes it very drinkable, and it is well carbonated too.
A decent saison that delivery plenty of wheat tartness that manifests in different ways, but lacking in complexity and depth. Very drinkable/sessionable and refreshing, however.

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, orange, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, melon, red apple, white grape, peppercorn, clove, light banana, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, wood, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, orange, grape, moderate pale/wheat malts, and earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, melon, red apple, white grape, peppercorn, clove, light banana, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, wood, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate peppery yeast spiciness; herbal, floral, woody, grassy bitterness; and light fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, melon, red apple, white grape, peppercorn, clove, light banana, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, wood, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, orange, grape, moderate pale/wheat malts, and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and no astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly acidic/tangy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is a great fruited saison. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, orange, grape, moderate pale/wheat malts, and earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Great balance of classic Saison yeast complexity, fruit, pale/wheat malts, and noble hops. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden-yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of lemon, wheat and toasted caramel. It tasted of lemon, citrus and toasted caramel. Mild bitterness.

Poured from bottle into pint glass, decent medium golden color with about a finger head that dissipates quickly. Smells of orange peel, florals and grape towards the end, was expecting more robust flavors but the yeast does a good job of limiting some of the tastes, which isn't really a bad thing. The cider flavor from the grapes come through nicely though. Pretty meh on the follow through. Overall not a terrible beer, best part is the cider flavor without the overpowering sweetness, nothing groundbreaking but worth a shot if you're looking to switch things up.

Pours a nice golden color with light haze, with a firm finger of white creamy head.
Aroma of orange peel, hefe yeast, banana runt, vanilla, pale malt.
Slight hints of peppercorn and orange slice to start, and then the cloudy, peppery, banana-esque yeast kicks in and it becomes a much tastier profile. Once the yeast kicks in it really develops nicely. Once the flavor of the yeast disappears, the rest of the beer thins out in flavor a lot. Solid nucleus, but everything around it just drops.
Feel is crisp, slightly clean, with somewhat of a starch on the back end.
Overall, not groundbreaking, but still worth trying if you're curious and you like Saison beers.
