Bought two 16 ounce cans from Beer Drop and probably will drink both. (From Beer Drop, I often give the second away.)

Trophy Husband does its job. It is a table wit. Its job is to make hasty meals seem better than they possibly can be. And Trophy Husband (that's me since I was cooking) made tonight's meal of leftovers better it could have been.

True, there are better wits on the market. But tonight, the Trophy Husband was good enough. I will let you know if that continues when I drink the second can.

5/23/23 Had the second can with basil pesto on pasta. I largely confirm my rating above: Trophy Husband does its job. Cleansed the palate of a salty sauce. Helped the food be the meal's centerpiece. While it Looked and Smelled average per its style, it was balanced. I'd have Trophy Husband again if it came my way.

Look - poured from a pint can (canned 9/23/22) into a tasting glass. small head with little bits of lacing. pale yellow in color, cloudy.

Smell - light citrus, a bit of sweetness, and some wheat. some herbs are present, but hard to tease out exactly which ones.

Taste - orange juice, wheat , with some coriander. balanced with bits of hoppy bitterness. finish is dry.

Feel - light bodied, above average carbonation, low-ish ABV at 5.2%.

Overall - a witbier that is not at all reminiscent of its Belgian counterpart. cleaner, a dash of hops, and a dry finish gives this beer a completely different profile. I'm not a fan, but an interesting take.
