I had this beer on-tap at the brewery in a taster glass.
Appearance: medium gold with a very light haze and a thin layer of white foam. Not too bad.
Smell: very grainy with a light funk. Kind of reminds me of a Pilsner that’s gone off, and yet in a good way.
Taste: a lot like the aroma, it’s malty, sweet and lightly funky. There’s a little bit of corn here, but for whatever reason it doesn’t really offend me.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body but with a very well-integrated carbonation which yields a very nice creaminess. I can dig it!
Overall: it’s not without its flaws, but it works pretty well for me. I could quaff plenty.
