355 ml can served cold into a tulip. LCBO purchase for $3.75 CDN. Canned August 28, 2020. Listed at 6.7% ABV and this is either an American IPA or NEIPA, Not Imperial.

Appearance - Pours a hazy pale golden brew, with little clarity and capped by a finger plus of long lasting white head. Small amounts of lacing stick around.

Smell - Leafy notes initially with a citrus burst of grapefruit lemon and coconut with some lychee thrown in for good measure. Very aromatic.

Taste - Juicy and fairly sweet, grapefruit initially and in the aftertaste, but the middle is the coconut and lychee combo. It's well done, but don't love coconut. More boozy than most in this ABV range.

Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, a touch sharp with the boozy and there's a cloying stickiness with the coconut on the tongue. Otherwise very solid, with appropriate carbonation and semi-dry finish.

Overall - Well constructed for sure, tasty enough, but this is one of those brews that I just don't love the flavor of and the coconut imparted is the reason for that. Even still many will really enjoy this.

I am not a beer afficionado, but I knew at first sip that this was a quality brew. The balance seems perfect to me. I love the citrusy taste mixed with the mango, orange, coconut and pineapple. It is smooth and delicious, without being heavy and cloying. The bitterness is in the background, which adds to the pleasure. This is a limited edition brew, but I will enjoy it until it's no longer available.

Not my favourite of Left Lield’s offerings. Pale straw coloured with a thinnish head - the hopping is distinctly piney / resiney and I would have prefered a little more hop balance.

355 mL can from the LCBO; dated Aug 7 2020, listed at 6.7% and served slightly chilled.

Pours a little hazy, with a pale golden yellow-hued body that is briefly topped with one finger of soapy, frothy white head; it dissipates within ninety seconds or so, reduced to a thin collar and sparse smattering of lace. It smells fruity and inviting - I'm getting mango, orange, coconut and pineapple, with hints of melon and lemon.

The flavour profile is along the same sort of lines - the coconut and citrus come through at first, with notes of pineapple, mango and honeydew melon following shortly thereafter. Not particularly bitter; it finishes with coconut sweetness and a touch of pithy bitterness, followed by more tropical fruit and coconut into the aftertaste. Medium full in body, with light carbonation that weakly brushes against the surface of the palate; very soft, smooth texture in the mouth. The 6.7% is somewhat noticeable, but its drinkability is still above average IMO... at least for a strong, borderline imperial IPA.

Final Grade: 4.05, an A-. Left Field's Prospect Sabro is a brew that I was not expecting to like nearly as much as I turned out to. Allow me to elaborate - I've gone on the record several times stating that Sabro hops are not my bag - mostly because of the coconut, a feature this beer does possess... but darn it if I don't enjoy this beer anyhow. There's enough tropical fruit and citrus flavour to distract me, and overall it's a solid quaff, one which I enthusiastically encourage other BAs to try.

Another nice Prospect beer from Left Field. Apricot seed and, for some weird reason, dill is at the forefront. Something is amiss here and it's a little watered down, but still quite decent.
