Glimmering gold body, touch of haze, forming a solid white head with low retention of a minute or two.
Aroma is mild umami yeast notes, whispers of apple orchards, bready malt, oak.
Crisp malt, prominent bittering hops, and a faint note of sweet apple make up the flavour profile, which tasting blind I might have guessed to be a pilsner - it has more of a sense of being a lager with a healthy hop bitterness; super clean, crisp feel, very dry, with fine, medium carbonation; pale, cereal malt notes linger in the finish.
A very well crafted, refreshing, clean beer, though I wouldn't characterize it as a saison.
