This limited edition fruited version of our All Ontario Ale is made with a hint of real lime juice (the only foreign ingredient - since we unsurprisingly couldn’t find Ontario grown limes), for a pop of freshly squeezed citrus. It’s the ultimate game day refreshment and the perfect bleacher beer.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. Date stamp illegible. My 23rd beer from the Toronto, Ontario brewery, and 14th for 2026. Adamantly enjoyed by Sundae the cat...

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Apr 17 2025 and served slightly chilled.
Pours foggy and effervescent, its golden yellow-hued body topped with just over a finger of frothy, foamy white head. A couple of minutes later, it has worn down to a tight, creamy collar and a thin cap that remain indefinitely; long strands of lacing are produced with each tilt of the glass. Wheaty aroma with hints of bready sweetness, grains and grassy hops; the lime juice is noticeable, but understated.
Nothing ground-breaking: it's just a blonde ale with lime juice. The juice adds a zippy, zesty note to the forefront, complementing flavours of grainy pale malts, wheat and bready, doughy sweetness. Suggestions of lemon, grassy hops and apples are discernible late in the sip; concludes with faint lime and graininess dissipating into an off-dry aftertaste. Light in body, with assertive carbonation that makes for a crisp, light quaff; smooth mouthfeel, with outstanding drinkability.
Final Grade: 3.73, a B grade. Ice Cold Lime is pretty good for what it is. If you've ever had Left Field's Ice Cold Beer, this is basically the same thing with added lime juice - I appreciate the addition, but I don't think it makes a significant enough difference to affect the experience all that much. This would make a fine pick for a day at the beach, or as an accompaniment for any outdoor summer activity, really - it's a little late in the season, sure, but the playoffs aren't over yet!

Poured a 355ml can into a pint glass. A scant bubbly white head on a hazy yellow. the head soon dissipates. No lacing.
Fruit up front in the nose. Some corn.
Taste is some mild lime over a a fairly smooth American Blonde base.
Light body and medium carbonation.
A good quality summer swiller.
