Poured from a 22oz bottle into a high sided tulip glass.
Look is a clear golden yellow with little to no head.
Aroma is sweet candy yeast.
Taste is very estery and very sweet. Better than expected based on the previous reviews.

Very blah tripel in nearly all aspects. Flat with no body either. A mediocre attempt at a Belgian beer at best.

On tap (Ghost 173):
Pours a translucent but almost clear pale yellow gold. Head is a bit light given style guidelines.
Nose is in the farmhouse style, but lightly scented: yeast funk, herbal, hay. Added to this are floral and light fruit notes (pear, maybe pineapple). Nicely light and refreshing.
The feel is also light and refreshing. The taste is a bit more fruitier than the nose suggests, but in the same way. In the end, I get a little sweet apple taste. The earthy/farmhouse is almost lost, but underlies the fruit flavors.
Nice light, mostly crisp offering, just a little dry in the end. Fruity and floral flavor profile, maybe just a little more bitterness would complete the beer better, but I'm searching for something. Most retraction come from look/feel due to less carbonation than I expected from the style.
