The beer pours a nice white head that takes a while to dissipate but leaves behind a nice film of bubbly head on the surface. The beer itself is a clear medium gold color. The look is about above average for an IPA and rather appealing.
The smell is a bitter citrus and orange hop bitterness with a nice and sweet oatmeal note. The aroma isn't powerful or overwhelming but it is pretty good.
The taste harbors the same notes as the smell. The taste is dominated by a strong bitter hop citrus/orange note with a nice creamy and sweet oatmeal finish.
The feel is nice and a bit unique for an IPA. It has a medium body with a very creamy feel to it. The beer starts dry and ends a little bit dry but still fairly good feeling.
Overall, a good above average IPA with oats in it. It isn't something super wowful but it's still worth getting a growler of. Go for it.
