Look=opaque amber.Feel=slightly oily and soapy. Smell=rich and interesting, plummy,christmasy.
Taste = Refreshing despite high ABV as the Aquavit herbs are well saturated. Piney,herby,complex, old school cocktail taste, astringent .
Well made. The beer works well with the barrel aging. Went to the brewery yesterday and was impressed.
DuClaw and dogfish head suck in general to me. Adroit theory looks to fall in the same category of Maryland brewers who think by using crazy ingredients makes them smart but adroit theory might pop out to be a real treasure.
