The beer pours a nice creamy brown head that dissipates very quickly. The beer itself is a nice looking black that has a slightly thin texture to it but comes off as a bit chocolate syrupish. It still looks decent though.
The beer smell is decent. IT has a moderate imperial stout note in the form of chocolate but that gets overwhelmed by the smell of alcohol and a red apple brandy note. The brandy note is interesting even if it is a bit sweet.
The beer taste is good. The stout notes are much stronger and the apple brandy notes goes well with the sweet chocolate notes. There is also a bit of a boozy smell.
The beer feel is okay. It's a heavy bodied beer but the body is fairly thin and comes off a little syrup like. It isn't bad but slightly off putting.
Overall, an interesting beer with a little less than thrilling body. The brandy notes are a good addition to the lineup
