22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 7/27/2017. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy golden amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, cracker, white bread dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper, pine, cracker, white bread dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, cracker, white bread dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance; and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 8.5%. Overall this is a very nice DIPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV; with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Spot on Mosaic/Citra showcase. Juicy and fairly dank hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with mild lingering sweetness. Wish I could have tried it fresher, but they did a great job for a NE-ish DIPA style. A very enjoyable offering, loved the hop profile as expected.

L: Poured from a bottle to a tulip glass. Had a gold-amber color and a super cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy head that lasted a fair amount of time. Good lacing.
S: A decent aroma of hops, citrus, tropical fruit, a grassy quality, and malt.
T: Tasted of a moderate amount of tropical fruit (passion fruit, mango), some light malt notes, a good shot of hops, a bit of the grassy quality, a little pine, and a tinge of citrus (lemon). A very good flavor that's heavy on the light, sweet fruit. The grassy quality is unwelcome, but not overly obtrusive. A bit more subtle than some of the other EBKs.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a lively finish. Medium-bodied.
O: While I don't like this edition as much as other EBKs, it's still very easy to like. Definitely drinkable.

Not a fan of this one. The smell has some nice hints of citrus/tropical but also is a bit heavy. The taste is indeed too sweet and boozy and the hops come across as muddled and messy. Thick, syrupy mouthfeel.

From the bottle, it pours a lightly hazy golden amber with a nice head that lasts a bit. Some lacing. Lots of hops in the nose, hard to describe, maybe some fruit and funk. Nice taste, a bit bitter as one might expect from a DIPA. Yum

First thing to notice is that it isn't that turbid, OJ looking beer. It is attractive, as it's a hazy pale yellow with a solid perfectly foamy off white head. Nose is pretty much dead on with that NE thing, as it's dank with a bit of like, tangerine and a nice malt presence. Taste is a big mouth punch of tangerine garlic bitter with a little sweetness in the shape of caramel. It doesn't really play out as hot, but it's weird because you feel like all the elements are there, just nothing like alcohol heat or astringency. It's in the body and the sweetness I guess, but obviously well masked. Pretty thick bodied, and a menacing aftertaste that matches the taste instead of leaning too sweet. I'm usually a fan of what these guys put out, and this is no exception. Great taste and a no nonsense feel.

L - Clear golden color that leaves no lace
S - Very juicy with tropical mangos and such
T - Has a tinge of spicy on the end of the mouth wrapped up in an oily pine and citrus mouthful. Slight booze on the end as well.
F - They market this as a NEIPA but it's harsher. It's pretty good for what it is but it isn't the kind of creamy, soft mouth feel people expect from the style. This is probably as juicy as Adroit gets unless you try their goses, but it's still tasty.

Poured from the bottle into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Bottled July 27th 2017.
Large and beautiful ultra fine forming head, with a creamy texture and reaching a solid three fingers of height. Real nice clarity and clear body. A touch of fine haze perhaps, but a shiny brass yellow with fine rising carbonation. Big creamy island top settling down, and great retention. Excellent looking beer.
Fine delicious hop nose. Aroma gives excellent earth and fruity tones. Large amounts of a sort of spicy melon to tropical mango qualities. Spicy sensing with an excellent whispy faint malt sweetness adding to the mix. Excellent aroma.
Rich tasing and feeling body right off first sip. Thick and velvety malt bill, but with touches of light syrup, and even some booze flavors. Mid palate is a shining and bursting hop quality. Resiny flavors of hop pine, mixing with dank and tropical juice like flavors. Lingering thick bitterness and sensing creamy like flavors as well. A real thick coating palate, with some sugars that emphazise a bit of alcohol just a little.
Sweetness could just be dialed back a tad, but this is very nicely done here.
