The bottle has the date and a batch number printed on the label at the lower right-hand corner: "BOTTLED ON 09/27/17" "3737/3900"
Appearance: First off, the beer has a massive, creamy-textured, slightly off-white head. It has very good retention and lacing. The head looks a bit like naturally whipped cream. The body is a medium-dark shade of beige with hinds of dark tan.
Aroma: The beer has a moderate strength catty aroma with a bit of a pungent scent of old fruit. It is not particularly inviting but at the same time it has elements of hop aroma.
Taste: There is a light bit of peach and a stronger dose of grain husk flavor.
Mouthfeel: The beer has an almost creamy mouthfeel but it's like drinking old hop milk at times. It has a pleasant smoothness but the flavors that accompany the smoothness feel out of place. There is a light bitterness and a bit of a chalky finish.
Overall: I wasn't a big fan of this beer. It felt disjointed and overall it wasn't too pleasant. On the positive side it hid the alcohol very well and it did have some a hop presence. The beer looked really nice. I wouldn't really recommend the beer and I doubt I would buy it again.

L: Poured from a bottle to a tulip glass. Had a light orange color and an opaque consistency. Kind of looked like orange juice. There was a half inch of foamy, long-lasting head. Very good lacing.
S: An enticing aroma of hops, malt, citrus fruit, tropical fruit, and pine.
T: Tasted of a lot of citrus fruit (orange and lemon, in particular), some light pine notes, a good amount of malt (mostly in the finish), lots of hops (less than expected), and tropical fruit (mango, in particular). An interesting flavor that gets better as it goes along. At first it seems that the hops are underpowered, but it kicks in soon enough. Fruity, hoppy and sweet.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a somewhat slick finish. Medium-bodied.
O: This is an excellent DIPA. Complex, well made, and drinkable.
