Good NEIPA!! Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, this beer featured the standard NEIPA look: hazy straw yellow body and foamy white head. The head started medium size and shrunk down slowly with ovrall good retention and some bands of lacing on the glass. Strong aroma and flavor of grapefruit, lemon and tropical fruits with a nice light level of bitterness. Mouthfeel was rich and crisp with a lactose-like smoothness to balance the hops. Nicely done!!!

L) Pours a lovely, opaque straw-yellow. Looks honestly like a hazy Belgian wit.

S) The nose is bursting with grapefruit rind, kumquat, lovely citrus, and a sappy spice. Super inviting.

T) The taste is resinous, with loads of grapefruit and a very clean malty sweetness. The light honey-like nature and the perfect amount of lactose balances out the hop profile very harmoniously.

F) Medium high carbonation with a nice and creamy mouth-feel for the style. Quite a pleasure to sip.

O) Once again, Adroit Theory has a solid brew for any NE IPA over out there. I have yet to have a NE IPA from them I couldn't recommend.

Thanks to bl00 for this one from NBS BIF #007. 22oz bottle (193/3900, bottled on 2/28/18) poured into 16oz snifter. Poured a cloudy light yellow color with about an inch of white head that had good retention and light lacing.

The aroma had a bit of a funky aspect that I originally thought was from hops that I was unfamiliar with. But, as I worked through the beer, I became less certain. A very light sourness that I can't put my finger on. No real grain or malt scents either.

The beer was fairly neutral on the front of the tongue, with that sour/funk/wutever showing up in the middle, and a bit of hop bite on the back end.

The body was light-medium, and the beer had good carbonation that helped throughout the bottle.

Drinkability was fine, once I adapted to that odd flavor/scent, which may indeed be from a strain of hops I'm not familiar with. Overall, a nice enough brew that might grow on me if I had repeat servings. Worth trying if you see it.

L: Poured from a bottle to a snifter glass. Had a bright yellow color and a cloudy consistency. There was 3/4", foamy head that lasted a fairly long amount of time. Fantastic lacing.

S: A very nice aroma of hops, citrus, malt, and tropical fruit.

T: Tasted of a whole bunch of citrus fruit (lemon, in particular), some grapefruit, a bit of malt (mostly in the finish), a good shot of hops, and a variety of tropical fruit (mango, passion fruit). This is a big, sweet, fruity flavor, but definitely a well-balanced one. Very tasty.

F: A solid amount of carbonation with a lively finish. Medium-bodied.

O: Adroit Theory has the DIPA thing down cold and this is a good example. Certainly a drinkable beer.

T: hops like crazy, tropical fruit, loads of citrus.

M: medium light with fairly abundant carbonation, and a nice bitter linger.

O: that'll do pig.
