From the older bottle, it pours a hazy golden yellow with a nice white head that leaves good lacing as you enjoy it. In the nose, it has a good bit of citrus. In the mouth, it is a well balanced grouping of malt and hops. Very enjoyable! Easy to drink!!

L: Poured from a growler to a snifter glass. Had a golden yellow color and a super cloudy texture. There was a 3/4 inch, foamy head that lasted an average amount of time. Pretty good lacing.
S: A sweet and juicy aroma of hops, citrus and tropical fruit, malt, pine, and lactose.
T: Tasted of mild amount of malt (barely noticeable), lots of hops (not overdone), light pine resin notes, a little lactose (not too much), and a good shot of citrus / tropical fruit (orange, mango). This is a very focused and almost typical NE IPA flavor. It's juicy and completely likable. Quite delicious.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a creamy and smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: Adroit Theory has a the NE IPA formula down pat, and this is a good example of it. Drinkable.

L) Pours a lovely, opaque, straw golden color, almost reminiscent of apricot flesh. It has a thick white head with great retention and outstanding lacing.
S) The smell is loaded with citrus, resin, stone fruit juice, and a strong spiciness. It is very inviting.
T) The flavor profile is so juicy, exactly what I look for in a NE IPA. The intense hopped nature of the beer is counterbalanced with the honey-like sweetness from the malt and lactose, but neither keep the beer from being too heavy. It's insanely drinkable.
F) This brew has a perfect medium-high carbonation and a lovely full mouth-feel.
O) No one in VA makes better NE IPAs. An easy recommendation.

Pours a very thin, cloudy light yellow which actually is not very appealing; like a gose but far from it. Smells is hoppy and piney and tastes the same initially but fades quickly to a nice smooth floral taste. A bit effervescent mouthfeel and not much aftertaste which is good. Not sure what the lactose adds other than maybe the color, but solid beer overall.
