Pumpkin, vanilla, maple syrup and extended Rum-aging bring a subtle warmth.
Slinking in the shadows of our barely-acknowledged selves there lives an illusive suggestion so complex, yet so exquisitely simple, as to create a soul-stealing madness in any who look too closely, seek too keenly. Skulking about, awaiting the precise moment to rise up and be known. To peel flesh from bone so our flaws are exposed, and we are set free. Madness comes with a priceā¦

22 oz bottle- Pours black with minimal mocha colored head. Aroma is pumpkin puree, cocoa, leather, roasted malts. The taste is smooth and creamy, pumpkin in the forefront, spices and the vegetable itself, perfectly balanced with the roasted malts, not too sweet, dessert beer that doesn't overstay its welcome. Delicious

This version of "Ghost 700" was brewed with pumpkin and "other natural flavors" and bottled on 1/17/19, and comes in at 12% abv...
The dark brown-black pour is close to opaque in the glass with a slim finger of tan foam on top... Basically a pumpkin stout, though the pumpkin flavor is of course, owing more to the other "natural flavors" than to the squash itself (which is a fairly bland-tasting plant) - what I got here is a lot of molasses and chocolate and some sweet espresso with "pumpkin spice-like seasonings... The body is medium-full, a little sticky, and stays sweet through the close, without any drying to speak of...
Despite a singular other rating of "5" for this beer (at the time of this review), I found this to be a good but not crazy good stout...
