Aged in Catoctin Creek Whiskey Barrels.
You scavenge the earth grasping at life's sweet indulgences. Never ending consumption drives your futile existence. A mindless march towards your own demise, wading through a sea of rotting flesh, no living creature unscathed. Decadence to be rewarded with the wrath of your own god. The gradual subjugation of your mind, body, and soul.

Dark brown beer with ruby highlights kicked up but a faint rim of tan bubbles... Fairly ordinary quad notes of dark fruits like cherries, dates, raisins, plums, and figs, here highlighted by the barrel aging process to develop some spice impressions and woody tannic notes... Lightly acidic, moderately sweet, mildly bitter... Fairly flat carbonation-wise, medium-light body, and a hint of drying on the finish... A good beer, but perhaps my expectations were too high - maybe the awesome label art got me carried away...?
