Take on the German pils - about as IPA-like as you can get - smooth, but fruity and hoppy with chewy grains and fairly full-bodied feel... Mildly bitter, amply carbonated, smooth and easy-to-drink... Recommended if convenient, but probably not worth going out of your way to get...

A collaboration with a metal band, the brewery didn’t distinguish what type of Pilsner-I made a beat guess by the style description on this site.

A clear white gold to play yellow body is besmirched by just a hint of white haze. A very nice fluffy white head yields less lacing than I’d have expected.

Nose is grain, hay, light biscuity malt, and a hint of drying wild grass on a breezeless summer afternoon.

Taste brings the malts up front with a little bit of a dry grain bread backing that. The metamorphosis continues to hay and finally a bit of noble hop grass. A bit of a mineral note escapes near the end.

A light offering with moderate carbonation leaves me wanting one more of these. I might have to switch up after that, but I’d come back later for a break from the more powerful options from this brewery.
