A re-brew of a highly desired Hazy Double from our past. The recipe has been updated to bring it in line with our current hazy projects - creamy, juicy, fruit forward aromatics, and low bitterness. Notes of Orange and Lime dominate with mild pine and earthy notes on the finish.

Poured from a 16oz can into pint glass in March 2023, Ghost #1350. There was a canned date of 02/21/2023 on the bottom of the can. I drank less than 2 weeks after purchase.
Appearance: Medium gold color with 2-finger white head. It is deep with a very hazy complexion. The head is very thick, and it lasts a minute, leaving a small covering. There is a medium amount of lacing on the glass.
Smell: Strong aroma of pineapple and grapefruit, as well as some hops and pine. The aroma was moderately strong as soon as the can was opened. The fruit aromas are more prominent than the other aromas.
Taste: Nice balanced taste between the fruit (grapefruit and pineapple) and hops that is not overpowering. The sweetness and bitter edge are well-balanced. Has a very nice after-taste that lasts a moderate amount of time. Overall a nice balance and very drinkable.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied. Also, strong average alcohol, which matches the 10% listed on the can.
This is a very good IPA. It has a nice mix of citrus, hops, and other flavors, which makes it enjoyable. The overall balance is excellent. Another great IPA from Adroit Theory. I would definitely buy this again.

Can dated 2/3/21 into pint glass. Pours a hazy gold with a persistent off-white head. Initial impression is juicy pineapple, grapefruit, mango, and caramel - perfectly balanced. Mouthfeel is soft - not as soft as some NEIPAs, but close. Alcohol is completely hidden. Finish has a slight dankness and bitterness that complement the huge citrus presence. Overall, this is probably my favorite from Adroit Theory.

16 oz can from Tavour. Orange golden with a light haze, small foamy head. Aroma is orange pith, biscuits. Taste starts with some smooth malts but is instantly subsumed by some bittering hops. , orange zest, lemon peel. Bitter without being a hop bomb.

Clearly a dangerous beer. Nothing in the brilliant dank taste would suggest that this is a 10% beer. The body is medium light and zero heat in the taste or finish. Nose punches through with barely a hint of heat (there it is!) but mostly sweet tangerine with scallion edges. Taste begins with the garlicky dank flavor before all else. Big bitter time delivered in a oniony grapefruit thing that leaves the same massive bitter in the aftertaste. Terrific beer

Somewhat citrusy on the nose but with a distinctly piney palate and a relatively heavy body. Despite high ABV the alcohol is not notable.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a bright yellow color and a super-cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Pretty good lacing.
S: A sweet and enticing aroma of tropical fruit, hops, peaches, malt, citrus fruit, and a dank quality.
T: Tasted of a small amount of malt (mostly in the finish), a good shot of citrus fruit (orange, in particular), a lot of dank hops (bitter, but not overdone), a ton of tropical fruit (mango, passionfruit), and a hint of peaches. This is a sweet, juicy, and lively flavor. It's kind of a hybrid NE IPA and DIPA. Fruity and tasty.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a soft, creamy finish. Medium-bodied,
O: An enjoyable DIPA. Drinkable.
