Thanks Brad!
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a fabulous looking burnt yellow to orange color with appropriate thickness to it. One finger's worth of white semi-rocky foamy head started and slid off delicately. Some speckled foamy lace here and there.
The aroma had a brisk orange pulpy to peel-like bittersweet quality with a white peppery to grassy hoppy character strolling into a keen biscuity maltiness.
The flavor takes on a smooth grassy to semi-white peppery spicy hint with some semi-bitter pine and orange peel. Subtle aftertaste of grassy to citrus peel.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Nice low carbonation. Finishes smooth with a touch of stickiness.
Overall, nicely done New England styled IPA worthy of coming back to. My first ever Adroit Theory and am hoping to try more eventually.
