Moment of Impact is full bodied, with deep notes of freshly roasted coffee and mild finishing bitterness. After being conditioned on Cubano roast coffee, toasted coconut, cacao nibs, vanilla beans, and fresh mint, the final product is decadent yet easy drinking, balancing notes of chocolate truffles with Espresso and trace finishing notes of Mint.

Pours the standard stout appearance, light lacing remains. The adjuncts are all present on the smell, and the blend is interesting. Seems like dark malt takes the forefront of the taste with none of the adjunct flavors over-asserting themselves. Again, it’s an interesting blend, and certain flavors pop up at different times and on different parts of my tongue and mouth. Medium bodied, just a hint of thick viscosity . Boozy, for sure. It’s an interesting beer with a lot going on. Adroit Theory, you’ve done it again!

Pours a thick, syrupy looking deep, dark brown. Looks like motor oil. The most aggressive pour yields a finger of dark brown head that quickly dissipates.
Nose is mild coffee, coconut, roasty malt, and sweet chocolate. This smells great. The coffee doesn't overwhelm and allows the coconut to come through. The chocolate tries to announce its presence as loudly as the coffee and the malt chills in the back with the attitude of "make no mistake, I'm still in charge here."
Taste is coffee up front, this time chocolate is vying for control, and coconut is now further back. Roast malt adds some bitterness but the sweetness from chocolate starts to take over. Malt thought he had it under control but chocolate is going crazy, flavors reminiscent of a Tootsie Roll with a dense, sticky mouthfeel to boot. Everybody in the room is getting nervous because they can't seem to calm chocolate down.
Mouthfeel is full-bodied, rich, thick, oily, and cloying. Like a decadent dessert. Very mild carbonation. Lactose has teamed up with chocolate and they can't be stopped. They're taking no prisoners.
Overall a great milk stout. A bit sweet, so it should definitely be paired with a meal AND shared with companions, but delicious nonetheless. This brew is a dessert, a treat, and should be treated as such.

L: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a dark, mahogany brown color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a quarter inch of creamy, tan-colored head that last a below average amount of time. Pretty good lacing.
S: A very good aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, coffee, coconut, and mint.
T: Tasted of a decent bit of roasted malt (a strong backbone), some coconut notes (lightly sweet), a little bit of mint (kind of refreshing), a little char, and a good shot of dark chocolate. This is a rich and complex flavor that gets better as you go along. The mint and coconut are interesting additions that work quite well.
F: An average amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium- to full-bodied.
O: A likable and well made RIS. Drinkable.
