A: The beer is very hazy whitish yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that quickly died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of gooseberries are present in the nose along with notes of citrus and hints of herbal hops.
T: The taste follows the smell, but is a little more herbal and bitter. Strong notes of gooseberries and lime and noticeable in the finish. There is a bit of spiciness in the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This New England IPA is especially flavorful and aromatic but does a very good job at masking the alcohol from the taste.
