L: Poured from a tallboy can to a pint glass. Had a dark, mahogany brown color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, tan-colored, somewhat long-lasting head. Not much lacing to speak of.
S: A good, but not spectacular, aroma of roasted malt, a creamy quality, and chocolate.
T: Tasted of bit of the creamy / milky quality (a subtle, underlying attribute), some milk chocolate (present, but could've used more), a lot of roasted malt (present throughout, but pretty subtle), a slightly burnt quality, and some coffee as well. This is a is a decent enough flavor, but lacks enough power to make it successful. Not bad, though.
F: An average amount of carbonation with a smooth finish Medium-bodied.
O: An uneven beer, but one with good attributes. Worth a look.
