A: The beer is hazy pale yellow with hints of amber hues and a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of lime and orange citrus are present in the nose along with hints of mangos.
T: The taste has flavors of gooseberries, lime, mango, and orange. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I thought that this beer was a lot easier to drink compared to what I would expect for an 8% abv IPA.

Pastel yellow body topped with a thick and frothy white head. Initial rush of lemon on the nose; tropical fruits; orange peel; mild sense of bread dough. Honey and biscuit flavors topped off with some fresh red berries; cantaloupe; very faint booziness. Heavy body; smooth a velvety; citrus tanginess; well-hidden alcohol warmth; semi-sweet mouthfeel throughout.

The lactose used in this beer comes across very nicely in the mouthfeel. The smell and taste components are masterfully blended and complement each other nicely. Not an overpowering hazy imperial beer, as the alcohol presence, while noticeable, definitely takes a back seat to the malt, hops, and lactose elements. A very fine beer...
