Solid head production and excellent retention. Pours crystal clear.
Big throwback aroma featuring a solid pale and crystal malt base, pine resin, grapefruit, and a bit of stone fruit and even berries for complexity.
Flavor follows, although it's less bitter than the OG WC IIPAs - although not by a ton. There's definitely a solid amount of bitterness on the back end, accompanying a slightly dry finish. Tasting notes include grapefruit rind (especially on the finish), peach, resin, white dough, cracker, and a dash of bright green herbs. Zero defects or flaws; very low dankness.

16oz can from Total Wine. Golden pour, light haze, skin of head. Hoppy, malty, candy in the aroma. Taste is malty, soapy, floral. Slick feel, bready, sweet.
