Traditional aroma of dried fruit like fig and raisin, along with a plum aroma.
Light body which works well with a good bitterness in the finish.
The taste is plum, fig, and more traditional flavors.

Clear and dark mahogany body; excellent head, thick and frothy. Nice aroma; cola-like; sweet. Herbal and spicy flavors infused with a richly sweet malt base; black licorice and anise; very low hop bitterness; rye. Medium-heavy body; a sense being lightly watery; lightly sticky on the palate.
A nice and somewhat complicated quadruple. It has some outright nice flavors and looks pretty nice, but also has a somewhat weak mouthfeel.
