Crisp, malt forward, and deceptively light bodied with a dark amber hue and ester notes of red stone fruit.

From the 16 oz can in a snifter via Bluejacket74---cheers Dude!
This excellent alt pours a nice medium amber / brown with a very
nice head of off white foam that settles to a thick ring, thick clumping
layer, and shows some very nice lacing. Nose of toasted malts, caramel,
herbal hops, grassy hops, and faint stone fruits. Flavors hit the mark with
a light peach, nicely toasted malt, light peach note with a touch of tea, and
a nice array of grassy and herbal hop notes. Nice mouth feel; medium light
body, medium light carbonation, and a crisp yet bitter malt and assertive hop
finish.
Overall---very nice for the style
Cheers

I guess this is good, but I have not had a lot of the style. It has a dark malt character, a slight spice and herbal nature, with a bit of a coppery feel to it. Light and easily drinkable.

Sweet, bready malts that are a bit grainy as well. Subtle fruit notes of plum and grain. The finish leaves a lingering, dry grassy tingle. Enjoyable enough, but not quite clean.

Nice clear copper color with a big head and great retention, pillowy with nice lacing.
Sweet roasted malt notes. Good fruity flavor with roast notes. Crisp feel. Nice carbonation.
I will drink one again.

Dark brownish amber body, crystal clear; lively carbonation; thick, billowing, frothy white head. sticky; fat patches of foam and sheeting cling to the glass. Intensely sweet malt nose; very light suggestion of spiciness. Clean malt taste; brown sugar tones; light hop bitterness. Medium body; crisp residual sugar feel; fairly sweet overall yet with a note of dryness.
This is a lovely beer, simple yet complex in flavor while delivering a piece of art to the eye.
Poured at 61 °F; CANNED IN MAY 2021 AD.

From can at brewery:
There wasn’t much room for head, but a medium sized island surrounded by a medium circle of foam sat atop a clear medium brown / auburn body.
I started off getting toast and earthiness with maybe some spice until I could dig in deeper. An herbal tea impression came after I drank about half the beer from the plastic “glass”
So in the end, the taste wasn’t a surprise after the initial scents, and the rest of the nose wasn’t a surprise after the taste.
A wet brown leaf earthiness, somewhat tea-like, without much sweetness to note opened the flavor profile. It became more bitter from there, but in a slow an moderate fashion. The hops seemed to bring some dried pine wood to the earthiness, and some herbal notes to the tea.
I’ve only had American versions of Altbier and the ones I know others have liked have this mostly earthy quality. It’s something I like as well. On top of that, the beer was medium light, with the well rounded and deep flavors giving it a little push towards medium.

16oz can from Tavour. Clear amber pour, fizzy off-white head. Malty, nutty, dry aroma. Hint of sweetness in the taste, toasty, dry malts, nutty, woody flavors. Right on target for the style.

16 ounce can, canned May 2021, can #4886 of 6800. Served in a stange glass, the beer pours a clear amber/copper color with about an inch and a half off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice and mainly sweet, it smells like caramel, stone fruit, herbal hops, bready malt and black tea. For the most part I think the taste is like the aroma, but there's also some dark fruit, nutty and toffee flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this easy drinking altbier, definitely worth trying if you're able to!
