From the 16 oz can in a snifter via Bluejacket74----Cheers Dude!
This solid brew pours a rich obsidian with thin brown highlights
and a nice head of tan foam that settles to a thick ring, thin dusty
layer, and shows some subtle lacing. Nose of dark coffee, dark
bakers cocoa, moderate char, subtle brewers licorice, and
hint of cream. Flavors nail what I personally look for in a
good imperial; dark cocoa, cream, brulee, subtle brewers licorice,
dark fruit notes, char, dark coffee, and a subtle herbal hop that
is not overpowering. Nice mouth feel; medium full body, smooth,
coating, rich, lightly warming, low carbonation, and a char and roast
laden finish.
Overall---excellent! Perfect balance and satisfying!
Cheers

16 ounce can, canned on 04/30/21, can number 0948/3600. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about a half inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good enough. I like the aroma, the brew smells like burnt/charred malt, dark fruit, anise, dark chocolate and coffee. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some caramel and molasses flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's a bit coating and creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was an enjoyable straight forward Russian Imperial Stout, worth picking up if you're able. Been a fan of the Adroit Theory brews I've had so far and this is a good one too!
