No date on can, into a plastic cup unfortunately.

Pours a dark murky orange with very nice white foam. Aroma is candied orange and pineapple, a little spicy, a little boozy. Flavor is similar, sweet candied fruit and orange peel. Low bitterness and extremely sticky. There's a lot of white grape too, specifically grape juice. I get an overall fruit salad/tropical fruit vibe, no truly weird or off putting flavors like I've been bracing myself for. It's just sweet, slightly boozy fruit salad and very creamy. The lactose is doing a lot of work here to cut the booziness, amp up the fruit flavors, and thicken everything up. This one is pretty old, but the hop flavors stand up well and it doesn't taste oxidized or weirdly malty, just not as bright as it should be. Feel is solid, pretty thick and a little heavy but no trace of the 10%. Just pretty big and sweet.

Overall, a weird, big IPA that doesn't get medicinal and kind of doesn't feel like an IPA. It's very sweet and fruity but not in an unpleasant way. It's the Adroit Theory style and quite well done even with the age on the can.

This one was listed as "Religion Ghost" but I am getting sick of this naming convention for beers that are approximately the same. An OK strong IPA. I don't care for a lactose presence in an IPA. "Smooth rich and creamy" is not my preference for an IPA. Prefer crisp and (some level) of bitterness. That being said, this beer had some decent flavoring and strength to it. Poured from a 16 oz. can into a pint glass, this beer featured a very hazy pale-yellow color and a medium sized foamy withe head. Aroma and taste featured tropical fruit and a lactose as well as malty presence. The fruit aroma was pretty good and the taste was OK but the lactose presence was a bit off-putting. Mouthfeel lacked crispness, not quite the abomination that is a "Milkshake IPA", but still not what I expect in an IPA. Some might like it better, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Can into pint glass. Pours a murky light honey gold color with a persistent bright white head. Great lacing. Initial impression is juicy citrus, peach, mango, and tropical fruits. Mouthfeel is thick, creamy, and smooth; alcohol is well hidden. Finish fades to slightly sweet citrus. Excellent.

Too much of an alcohol taste overpowers the flavor of the beer
