Poured from 16oz can into my BeerAdvocate teku. Canned August 2021.
Appearance: medium orange hue with a moderately thick haze and a thick finger of frothy ivory foam. Not too bad.
Smell: sweet, with a huge peach and apricot aroma, with a bit of a dankness underneath. I like the fruitiness, but it's almost cloying in its presentation.
Taste: sweet and fruity. Lots of stone fruit, like the aroma, and plenty of sweetness. Bitterness is minimal. I like the juicy, fruity character, but it is rather sweet. Like, even for a lactose IPA.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and a pretty good creaminess. Not quite as smooth as I normally associate with lactose.
Overall: a tasty dessert type of beer, but too sweet to drink much of.
