This brand new triple IPA has the same opaque, pillowy and semi-sweet body you've come to expect from us, paired with intensely juicy citrus hop notes and slight finishing bitterness.

Can dated 6/1/23 into pint glass. Pours a muted and very hazy gold with a brief off-white head. Not muchlacing. Initial impression is sweet pineapple, orange, and caramel. Mouthfeel is thick and almost oily. Finish is sweet. Overall, a decent DIPA but not one of my faves.

Adroit Theory is one of my favorite breweries to secure on Tavour. Ultraviolence is a very smooth and creamy IPA with a delicious floral scent. Banana and mango are the notes that I got during the tasting and the end result is a very unique ale. Also, the soldier on the can is bad ass.

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy yellow/golden pour, thin, filmy white head. Aroma is citrus and stone fruits. Chunky, fruity flavors, mildly tangy. Thick , full. ABV not readily apparent. Typical AD.

Poured from a can into a Teku glass
Appearance – The brew pours a very hazy orange-yellow color, resembling watered down orange juice, with a one finger head of off-white foam. The head has a great level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave tons of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strong of an orange and tropical fruit smell of pineapple, papaya, and tangerine mixed with a big showing of a sweeter grapefruit hop aroma. At the same time there are other aromas pine and herb as well as some yeasty smells. Rounding out the aroma is a bready and doughy smell, and with a hint of lemon and yeast, a very inviting aroma is produced overall.
Taste – The taste begins with a bready and doughy malt base flavor matched with a light tropical fruit sweetness. The tropical fruit is lighter than anticipated from the nose, being a bit more subtle. At the same time that are some yeasty and hay flavors in there as well. With these flavors also comes a good showing of a big grapefruit hop as well as some herbal and pine hop with hints of some light grain. As the taste advances, the grapefruit gets stronger gets more potent while the sweeter tastes grow slightly weaker. A light booziness and a light earth also develop over time, nicely complimenting the other flavors and leaving one with a rather hoppy, and slightly more grapefruit and slightly dank taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is chewy with a carbonation level that is slightly higher. Overall, the feel is good and makes this one a dangerously easy drinker.
Overall -A rather tasty and big Hazy IPA. Lots of flavor here, all while being not too citrusy or too malty. Rather well done and worth a try.
