The 10th in our 12-part Cobra inspired series picks up where the last one left off. This pillowy, oat-laden IPA possesses a delectable, silky texture with a semi-sweet malt body. Paired with only the juiciest hops, this IPA delivers on strength and flavor. Featuring the diabolical twins: Tomax / Xamot.

On tap at the brewery. This reminds me a lot of RaR's HSAs (hop saturated ales) but without nearly as much hop burn. Lots of juicy tropical/citrus hops with some grassy/herbal dankness. Sturdy malt backbone but not too sweet or boozy. Very impressive.

Can dated 2/21/22 into pint glass. Pours a murky orange-gold with a fluffy, persistent off-white head. Great lacing! Initial impression is peach, melon, citrus, and a hint of bitterness, nicely balanced by restrained malt sweetness. Mouthfeel is soft and pillow-y. Incredibly smooth for a 10% DIPA. Finish is clean and sweet, fading to a slight bitterness. Overall, a really good, easy-drinking DIPA!
