The 7th release in our 18-part Evangelion series picks up the mantle for the 6 previous releases. It has a rich + pillowy body is the ideal vehicle to transport dominant notes of Orange, Grapefruit, and Cotton Candy. Aromas of Tropical Citrus fruits burst out of the can, enticing each subsequent sip.

Poured from a 16oz can into pint glass in May 2022. There was a canned date of 03/18/2022 on the bottom of the can. I bought this at the brewery, and drank less than 2 months from purchase.
Appearance: Deep gold/orange color with 2-finger white head. It is deep with a very hazy complexion, like some IPAs. The head is very thick, and it lasts a minute, leaving a small covering. There is a medium amount of lacing on the glass.
Smell: Strong aroma of citrus and pine, as well as some hops and pineapple. The aroma was moderately strong as soon as the can was opened. The citrus and pine aromas are more prominent than the other aromas.
Taste: Nice bitter taste from the hops that is not overpowering, along with a moderate sweetness like grapefruit and pineapple. Also, some orange flavors. The sweetness and bitter edge are well-balanced. Has a very nice after-taste that lasts a moderate amount of time. Overall a nice balance and very drinkable.
Mouthfeel: Strong body. Also, high average alcohol, which matches the 10.0% listed on the can.
This is a very good Imperial IPA. It has a nice mix of citrus, hops, and other flavors, which makes it enjoyable. The overall balance is excellent. I would definitely buy this again.

Can dated 3/18/22 into pint glass. Pours a murky gold with a brief off-white head. Initial impression is sweet orange and grapefruit. Mouthfeel is fairly soft and medium thick. Alcohol is very well hidden. Finish is not as sweet as I expected. Overall, an OK IIPA but not one of my favorites from Adroit Theory.
