Packed with generous amounts of flaked oats, flaked wheat, and spelt, this beer delivers the soft, pillowy malt body you love. It boasts juicy aromas of orange citrus and tropical fruit, with a hint of dankness on the finish, balanced by mild bitterness.

Double dry-hopped with Citra, Mosaic, Motueka, Riwaka

A pint can poured into a beer glass. Hazy lightly toasted orange color. Low head retention, little lacing.
An Imperial with generous-malt flavor and lactose is bright, citrus orange and tangerine dominates, grapefruit and persimmon flavors in the background with pineapple notes. Conifer flavors are mild.
Nicely carbonated with a pleasant finish.

Poured from a 16oz can into pint glass in June 2022. I did not see a canned date on the can. I bought this at the brewery, and drank less than 2 months from purchase.

Appearance: Deep gold/orange color with 2-finger white head. It is deep with a very hazy complexion, like some IPAs. The head is very thick, and it lasts a minute, leaving a very small covering. There is a medium amount of lacing on the glass.

Smell: Strong aroma of citrus and pine, as well as some hops and pineapple. The aroma was moderately strong as soon as the can was opened. The citrus and pine aromas are more prominent than the other aromas.

Taste: Nice bitter taste from the hops that is not overpowering, along with a moderate sweetness like grapefruit and pineapple. Also, some orange flavors. The sweetness and bitter edge are well-balanced. Has a very nice after-taste that lasts a moderate amount of time. Overall a nice balance and very drinkable.

Mouthfeel: Strong thick body. Also, high average alcohol, which matches the 10.0% listed on the can.

This is a very good Imperial IPA. It has a nice mix of citrus, hops, and other flavors, which makes it enjoyable. The overall balance is excellent. Another winner from Adroit Theory, and I like this as much as their Evangelion VII Imperial IPA. I would definitely buy this again.
