The 12th (and final) in our COBRA series features the Crimson Guard and a new outfit for Cobra Commander. Like the others, this one is pillowy soft with a silky texture + semi-sweet malt body. Juicy aromas of candied peach, lychee, and passion fruit abound. Double Dry-Hopped with El Dorado, Zappa, Motueka, and Moutere.

Poured from a 16oz can into pint glass in September 2022. Adroit Theory Ghost lists this as can #3759 out of 4800. There was a canned date of 06/09/2022 on the bottom of the can. I drank less than 2 months after purchase.
Appearance: Medium gold color with 2-finger white head. It is deep with a very hazy complexion. The head is very thick, and it lasts a minute, leaving a small covering. There is a medium amount of lacing on the glass.
Smell: Strong aroma of pineapple and grapefruit, as well as some hops and pine. The aroma was moderately strong as soon as the can was opened. The fruit aromas are more prominent than the other aromas.
Taste: Nice balanced taste between the fruit (grapefruit and pineapple) and hops that is not overpowering. The sweetness and bitter edge are well-balanced. Has a very nice after-taste that lasts a moderate amount of time. Overall a nice balance and very drinkable.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied. Also, moderate average alcohol, which matches the 10% listed on the can.
This is an excellent IPA. It has a nice mix of citrus, hops, and other flavors, which makes it enjoyable. The overall balance is excellent. Another great IPA from Adroit Theory. Adroit Theory continues to produce my favorite IPAs, along with Tired Hands and Tree House. I would definitely buy this again.

Growler into pint glass. Pours a very hazy medium gold with a brief off-white head. Good lacing. Initial impression is fairly sweet peach, pink grapefruit, and mango. Mouthfeel is soft and pillow-y, with just a bit of prickliness from the moderate carbonation. Alcohol is quite well hidden. Finish fades to a citrus-y sweetness. Overall, another excellent DIPA fromAdroit Theory!
