Brewed with copious amount of flaked wheat, oats, and a dollop of spelt, this one has a creamy malt sweetness that beckons the next sip. Hops start as citrus, and then transition into a candied muscadine grape with a splash of juicy mango. Double Dry-Hopped with Citra, El Dorado, and Azacca.

A - Medium orange with some haziness and alot of suspended "floaties" that don't move. Lacing is moderatley dense and vibrant in color. Future reference: Pour this one "quietly" to catch all the particulates. Does it mean anything overall? Nope, just depends on what you want to see in your glass.

S - Apricot, peach, mango, and citrus with a slight acidity.

T - Follows the nose with big peach, mango, and apricot dominating and finishes on the fruitier side.

M - Medium body that's semi-dry on the back of the tongue while the rest of the mouth waters.

O - Very fruity with some ABV presence.

Pours a hazy, orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and lactose, with hints of hops, vaguely reminiscent of peach and tropical accents also coming through. Taste is a decent balance of light biscuity malt, strong lactose and fruity, juicy, vaguely grassy and resinous hops, with citrus, tropical and stone fruit notes of mango, grapefruit and peach, Finishes with a strong lactose sweetness and little bitterness, as well as some mango and peach lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

While there are some hops recognizeable here, all I can really taste when drinking this is lactose, which kinda seems to be Adroit Theory's general flavor profile. All their IPAs taste the same to me: way too sweet and so overdone on the lactose that you can barely taste the hops anymore. I literally just had another beer by them yesterday that tasted almost identical to this. I once had a Mexicake Stout from Adroit Theory that I really enjoyed, but I will not be buying another IPA from them.

Poured from a 16oz can into pint glass in March 2023. There was a canned date of 08/09/2022 on the bottom of the can. I bought this at the brewery, and drank less than 2 months from purchase. There is "Memories" printed on the bottom of the can.

Appearance: Deep yellow/orange color with 4-finger white head. It is deep with a very hazy complexion, like other NEIPAs. The head is very thick, and it lasts a few minutes, leaving a small covering. There is a large amount of lacing on the glass.

Smell: Moderate aroma of citrus, pineapple, and pine, as well as some hops. Also, some fruity aromas like berries. The pineapple, citrus, berry, and pine aromas are more prominent than the other aromas.

Taste: Some bitter taste from the hops that is not overpowering, along with a moderate fruit sweetness like citrus and pineapple. Also, some orange flavors. The sweetness and bitter edge are well-balanced, but leans towards the fruit flavors. Has a very nice after-taste that lasts a moderate amount of time. Overall a nice balance and very drinkable.

Mouthfeel: Thick body. Moderate alcohol, which matches the 8.3% listed.

This is a very good NEIPA. It has a nice mix of citrus, fruit, hops, and other flavors, which makes it enjoyable. I like the overall balance, and would buy this again.

Can dated 8/9/22 into pint glass. Pours a murky burnt gold with a small but persistent off-white head. Initial impression is citrus, pineapple, mango, and grape. Slightly sweet. Mouthfeel is medium, as is carbonation. Finish fades to soft citrus. Overall, another excellent NEIPA from Adroit Theory!
