Adroit Theory is still using the strange "Ghost" naming convention and still producing very good beer. This one is a fringe candidate for an Imperial NEIPA style. Pours a hazy muted gold color with a medium sized foamy head and tons of thick foamy lacing. Head retention is excellent. This is a balanced IPA with plenty of dry biscuity malt to go along with the strong grapefruit (and to a lesser extent piney) hops. There is a bit of "dankness" here too. The taste is robust and very good. Mouthfeel is crisp and bitter. There is a little alcohol harshness here but not enough to affect enjoyment, just enough to slow you down (Not a bad thing at 10.5% .abv) A solid and enjoyable brew!!!
