16oz can from Function NW. Hazy yellow/golden pour, sparse head. Zesty, citrusy aroma with some mild dank notes. Taste is grapefruit and pineapple, the dankness getting stronger, as well as done warming ABV.

Hazy white grapefruit juice. Nice citrusy and lightly dank hop aroma and flavor. Great balance with little to no bitterness. Medium bodied, soft and creamy smooth! Canned 11/12/25. Super fresh !!

Looking at the reviews for Memories Change Their Shape (Ghost 1239) this beer looks and presents pretty much the same. Poured from a16 oz can into a pint glass, this beer features a big frothy white head with lots of frothy rings of lacing around the glass. Excellent retention. The color is the usual NEIPA hazy straw yellow. Aroma and taste include a dry, biscuity malt backbone and some moderately bitter hops. The overall effect is a pretty robust NE style IPA with a good balance between hops and malt. Mouthfeel isa combination of some lactose smoothness and a bit of harsh bitterness and alcohol presence. It lacks some IPA crispness due to the lactose. Overall, a pretty good brew. I don't like the trend towards lactose in IPA's, especially when it is overdone like the abomination called Milkshake IPA!!! This beer keeps the lactose in moderation and overall, is quite enjoyable.
