A remake of a beer we brewed over 2 years ago. Like our other revamps, we are adjusting our recipes to bring them inline with our more current offerings like Devil’s Dram, but also staying true to what was a really nice beer for a cold fall day. Deep amber in color with subtle ruby highlights. Moderately-strong bready + wheaty malt character with notes of honey + caramel. A flash of dried-fruit character with subtle yeast driven esters. Hop bitterness is moderate, but evenly balanced. Body is medium-full with a luscious, velvety texture.

16 ounce can poured into a snifter.
Canned 12/6/23
L: Clear caramel brown, very thin khaki head, bubbly foam last about 15 seconds, has legs.
S: Dominant metallic aroma at first, caramel malt and prune and some alcohol coming after a few minutes, Candi sugar-like notes later in the glass.
T: Sweet and tangy like raisins, malted wheat, dark sugar, woody bitterness picks up at the finish.
F: Medium-weight body, smooth and a little creamy, lower carbonation, sharp finish with some warmth.
O: Decent sipper.
