16oz can from Function NW. Dark brown pour, beige head settles to thin film. Light roasty aroma, chocolate, coffee notes. Taste is mildly bitter, dark roast. Right on target.

Information Overdose (Ghost 1715) from Adroit Theory Brewing. Four-pack of 16 fl oz cans, ordered 04/10/25 from Adroit Theory on-line, received 08/11/25, $25.31 (including shipping)/$ 0.395/fl oz. Reviewed 01/12/25, review 3645. Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Label bottom stamped “CANNED 10/22/25.” Stored at home at 37 degrees F. Served at 46.5 degrees F in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter. The final temperature is 52.7 degrees F.
Appearance – 3.5
First pour – Deep Amber (SRM 15), hazy.
Body – Ruby Brown (SRM 24), opaque. Under direct light, same. When rear-lite, barely allows light to pass, ruby.
Head – Average (Maximum 2.5 cm, aggressive center pour). Light tan, high density, short retention, dropping to a 0.15 cm crown, and a thin center island.
Lacing – Poor – just a rare tiny island remains on the glass.
Aroma – 3 – Distinct roasted malt only, no hops, no alcohol (4.8 % ABV according to the label).
Flavor – 3 – Begins slightly bitter with little roasted malt. No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl. No gastric warming. Ends dry-ish.
Palate – 3 – Medium: Watery: Soft carbonation.
Style: Follows the BA style description.
Final impression and summation: 3.25 Uncredited art work. Basically, tastes like many of their Russian Imperial Stouts, sans the heavier palate, higher ABV, and more complex alcohols.
