Bottle, 2020 winter release. Thanks, Sam!
A clear deep amber with a dense off-white head with excellent retention and lacing. The nose is a classic dark saison base, vaguely roast, vaguely warming, mildly spicy and phenolic with a light allspice and juniper note. A mild lactic character is present. The palate opens with a funky, earthy, mildly mushroom like character, dusty, tempered by a mild lactic tartness. There's a mellow floral/spicy note, a blend of hibiscus, potpourri, a mildly tannic oak and tea. A touch of buckwheat honey. A straw and hay flavor is present. Drying, tannic on the finish, light in body. Highly carbonated. Decent.

Straw color appearance with a significant white head that desolated very very slowly. Aroma is a mild sour that is very pleasant. Taste is also a mild sour that is slightly dry.
