Got at Bottlecraft in San Diego. ~$15 for 750 mL bottle. Very interesting bottle concept. But capped and corked (unique looking cork). Unfortunately, I didn't have a snifter on vacation, so poured it into a pint glass. Bottled 04/20, consumed 05/23/21.
A&S: The beer is golden orange. Lively little carbonation bubbles are constantly rising up to the surface. Pours a half finger of white fizzy head, retains in a thin layer for a bit before subsiding into nothing. The beer large chunks of unfiltered parts. The aroma has notes of flowery, tart apples, herbal
T&M: Tart apples and slightly acidic tones the main initial taste. Woody tones in the mid-taste. Hints of floral hops as well. Dry finish and slightly bitter with hints of peaches. Shocked by the ABV, the taste does not give any hint at 8%. Super crisp almost too sharp initially, but as the remaining beer is poured into the glass it calms. Light body. Initially, the beer is not super drinkable due to the high carbonation but becomes much more so later on.
Overall: Unfortunately I thought this beer was de Garde's #1 rated beer (Nectarine Premiere), but I am still glad I gave this beer and company a try. This beer is different without being over the top or outrageous. I would recommend it.

Bottled 04/20. Thanks, Sam!
A clear light copper with a white head that falls off rapidly leaving no lacing, this looks solid. The nose is grassy with straw, mild lemon, some raw peach before the base beer appears with a rather tannic, grist heavy foundation. Along with that is a mildly medicinal Brett character, a little Tylenol/ aspirin like.
The palate opens mildly bitter and a little tannic with some dry hop flavor - peach, lemon, grass- followed by straw, hay, a touch of barnyard, wet earth and light mushrooms. The sourness is rather clean with a mostly lactic acid bite. There's a blend of medicinal and tannic bitterness, along with an oak heavy oiliness. Carbonation is too high, resulting in a foamy mouthfeel that doesn't work with the flavors. Alcohol is a little too high, lending more bitterness. This is one of those beers where the whole's less than the sum of the parts, and the parts aren't too great either.

L: Generic blonde yellow.
S: A strong nose of grass.
T: A very, very dry saison that doesn't taste that great due to the dryness moreso than anything else.
F: dry grass.
O: A weird take on the usual saison being dry. It's not great but at least they're trying.
