750ml bottle at share. Pale golden pour with an airy bubbly white head. Aroma is tart and funky, fruity. Taste is fruity, wine notes, plenty of funk. A real treat.

This looks like regular BT. The nose is pure cheesy funk. Rich Parmigiano, blue cheese, lactic funk, mild citrus, minimal wood. A really lovely rich, preserved lemon character. The palate is focused on soft, cheesy funk, deep and mildly creamy. Mellow, rich, a really good blend. I can't say that the 7 year old thread can be tasted here. Also, for something that spent as much time in wood, I don't get a lot of oak or wood notes, and tannins are relatively reserved. Lovely stuff.

Unfiltered golden body, slight copper hue. Lemon, cobweb, oak, touch of sherry and caramel. Bit of white wine grape sweetness. Touch of slick vanillin coats the palate then recedes behind a mild lemony acetic acidity, touch lactic. Medium body. Complex.

Been waiting to try this one since I heard about it on Brewing Podcast.

big fluffy head when poring over flowed the glass pale yellow and touch of haze big tart on the nose taste follows has little funk on the end. Nice pour to sip and enjoy was almost a touch to sour for me but still drinkable

Foggy shimmering amber with a short white froth that stretches some curvy arms up onto the glass.

Always the most funky of the stateside spons, and so well done at that, this de Garde reserve bottle starts off with a sweaty aged peach quality that's simultaneously intensely woody and barnyardy.

The medium-light body has a firmly frothy yet airy carbonation coming to a just bone dry finish, where tons of apricot character seems to develop within the moderate acidity out of nowhere.
