L-The beer pours a pale cloudy yellow with a bubbly 2 finger white head. The head recedes to a thin ring leaving no lacing.
S- The nose is overwhelming that of fresh squeezed OJ, hence the name I suspect. It is moderate in intensity.
T- Taste is slightly more complex. The initial sip starts out with the orange from the nose. You are almost immediately hammered with a strong lacto sourness which dominates the orange through the middle and late portions. Once the sourness passes you are once again left with a solid OJ presence in the aftertaste.
F- Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of medium. Thicker than I would have guessed based on the level of sourness. Carbonation is light but prickly.
O- A great beer for those who like an intense lacto sourness and/or orange juice. I happen to be one of those and enjoyed this one. My wife liked it even more than I did and she described it as a Mimosa. If you like sour beer and mimosas than this one will be right in your wheelhouse.

nice looking brew. aromas are acidic and some yogurt and stinky notes come out, mild lemon peel and grapefruit as well. some citrus show up on palate, but flavor profile is way overpowered by acidic and lactic sour flavors - not necesesarily getting the 'fruited' aspect of this brew ... or I am but its barely detectable over the mouth puckering sour yogurt for days ... not a huge fan and somewhat surprised that this was able to win. im not a necessarily a sour person but definitely enjoy a nice tart offering that is balanced with other flavors. this reminds me of some shitty almanac offerings that ive tasted, but has nothing on the more nuanced sour/tart beers coming from the likes of four quarters, hill farmstead, & foam/house of ferm. good for a home brew I guess but thought the IPA runner up was probably better ... made my way though a 4pk none the less.

Picked up a four pack of this recently. I also sampled it Friday night at the 2017 VT brewers festival. Pours a hazy blonde hue with a thing head into my glass. Tart, ripe citrus in the nose. Thirst-quenching citrus upfront (grapefruit) followed by cherry at the back. Incredibly tart and easy to drink for this time of the year. I really like this and congratulations to the the winner, Ted Ortiz Y Pino.

Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a ruddy copper to slightly dark yellow color with a finger’s worth of quickly dieing head that left some light messy lace. The aroma had some citrus bitter rind with an ample amount of puckering sour grapefruit pith. Some grassy bitterness. Light tart red cherries at the very end. The flavor blended the sour to the sweet with a crisp tartness pushing a little bit of oomph at the end. Nicely blended sour to tart to sweet aftertaste punching the finish in the same sort of way. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair crisp sessionability about it. Some clingy carbonation was felt. ABV felt fine. Sourness does end up giving off a slight abrasive quality on my tongue. Overall, pretty nice "fruited" sour ale that I'd love to come back to preferably this time of year.
