The oak in this is so amazing. Rich and malty with very light hoppiness and citrus fruit. Easy to drink and interesting flavors makes this a great drink.

" We use local honey, NC 6-row malt, a dose of Citra hops for bright aroma, and aging on French Oak to create a flavor bomb"
Well they got the Bomb part right...Actually it's not as bad as that sounds.
There's a lot going on according to the website, unfortunately the 1st impression I got was Bands aids and bubblegum.I let the beer open up for a minute and it was actually a bit better than my initial reaction,Over all there is quite a bit of esters in there but drinkable and actually a decent brew, not over the top but I will revisit the beer.
