Pours a clear, dark brown color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Decent retention and decent lacing. Smells of sweet malt, roasted malt, yeast, hops, hint of dark citrus, and a hint of earthiness. Fits the style of an American Stout. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. There was also a slight tartness. Tastes of sweet malt, hint of hops, hint of roasted malt, hint of pale malt, slight yeast, tartness, and a hint of alcohol. Overall, a little too sweet, but an interesting beer. Brewed with cherries and rhubarb.
