Had on tap. Mostly clear amber body, white cap. Smells of sulfuric yeast, watermelon and mint poke through in a bright way, but there is a clash here between these adjuncts and the base beer. Taste leads with the watermelon, where the mint fades into the yeast, malts appear to help the balance. Feel is lighter bodied, odd sharpness from mint in a style that is built on smoothness, but it works well enough. More odd than good

Poured into a Duvel tulip. No freshness date.
A- Pours a semi-hazy medium amber color with a 1/2 inch white head that retains decently before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a half sheet of sheer surface foam. Resilient lacing leaves a solid ring behind.
S- Slight sulfur aroma and then the watermelon breaks through and adds a freshness factor.
T- Big watermelon presence that's fortunately not too sweet. Only a bit of mint in the finish. The watermelon is so prevalent it's hard to make out the malt and hop flavors. A touch of yeasty esters.
M- There's a nice juicy texture there that's obviously from the watermelon. Medium carbonation and a lightish body.
O- A nice summer beer that utilizes watermelon quite well but it's definitely not worth the $15 price tag.
