On tap at the brewery taproom. Listed as 6.8% ABV and 50 IBU. This is actually a black IPL (new style).
Pours black with a very good head and decent lacing.
Aroma: hoppy; like a black IPA or APA.
Flavor: hoppy enough to pass for an IPA but with just mild bitterness and more dark malts ... lots more.
Feel: smooth, medium body with well set medium carbonation.
Overall: recommended for fans of black IPAs.
