For a session IPA, this is fantastic! Burial knocks it out of the park with their brews and IPAs. And for the price of $3 a can, distro/shelf beer, it doesn’t get much better. It’s a NEIPA juice bomb. Very soft; water profile and flaked adjuncts help boost this beer’s feel without affecting the ABV. Hunnits

Nelson Sauvin poured from a can. Date was a year old so who knows how that impacted taste and hops.
A- Hazy golden color with a 1 finger head that dissipated fairly quickly.
S- Wonderful to the nose. Citrus Orange with a floral background. Very appealing
T- Great start but it kind of left me hanging half way through. From the nose I was expecting a big hit of Citrus but didn't get it. It's a sessional beer so I get it, but it's more of an APA than an IPA. IBU's seem more in the APA range than an IPA.
M- Very light. Perfect for a sessionable/lawnmower beer. Again, I'm thinking APA not IPA
O- Very good beer, I've been wanting to try Nelson Sauvin hops and I'm hooked on them after this beer.

Latest rendition of their low ABV IPA--this one featuring Mosaic
Turbid and very light yellow with one finger head
Smell--citrus--lemon, bright, little cat pee for me
Taste--light, airy and bright--citrus all the way
Feel--thin as expected at 4%
Latest version will be my go to beach beer this summer. Super easy drinker and true to form at 4% for session strength.

Pounder Can > Tulip Glas
A - Clear straw yellow with a finger or fizzy white head, no lacing.
S - Very bright and crisp, grape, orange, lemon, grass, craker malt.
T - Deliciously refrreshing, light, bright citrus peel, cracker malt on the base, lemongrass, white grape, crisp apple.
M - Thin, but still very bright and refreshing.
O - Great session, still holds some juicy hop flavors while being blight in body and crips.

Pours a hazy straw color with a one finger white head that dissipated quickly. I get citrus and piney hops on the nose with a light amount of grain. The hops really come through on the palate. Thin body but perfect for a session IPA. I could put away a lot of these.

Nelson Sauvin
04/29/2016
Light yellow color capped with a thin white head. Oily, zesty hop aromas: berries, grapes, passion fruit, and leafy herbs. Flavor is all Nelson hops with no real trace of malt...fruity, dank, grassy, and oily. Light bodied and bone dry. A nice, snappy hop showcase. Very drinkable.

Note: Nelson Sauvin
A: Pours a very lightly hazy pale yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate lemon yellow highlights. The beer has a finger tall foamy white head that reduces to a large patch of thin film covering the entire surface of the beer with a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of tropical/passionfruit and citrus/grapefruit hops over light aromas of slightly sweet grainy malts.
T: Upfront there is a light to moderate flavor of slightly sweet grainy malts. That is followed by a moderate flavor of Nelson Sauvin hops - tropical/passionfruit, citrus/grapefruit, and just the slightest hint of pine. Light to moderate amounts of bitterness which fades away pretty quickly.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp.
O: Very easy to drink, very sessionable, and very enjoyable. One of the better session IPAs available since the mouthfeel is not watery like some others. Definitely worth grabbing and I will look forward to trying some of the other hop varieties of it. I'm a fan of Nelson Sauvin and this beer does not disappoint.

L: Hazy pale gold with a white head that fades quickly and leaves no lacing.
S: Lots of citrus (mainly grapefruit for me) and pine. Faint maltiness.
T: Crisp, clean, grapefruit pith and pine with a tiny amount of sweetness.
F: Surprisingly close to medium bodied for a low ABV session beer. Low to moderate carbonation.
O: Amazing beer with nice balanced flavors for a low ABV session beer.

Ceremonial with Nelson Sauvin hops pint can, super fresh from the brewery. Hazy light straw color with a huge nelson aroma. Taste is one not but exploding with Nelson, pretty amazing for a session ipa. Overall, one of if not my favorite session ipas....

Poured into a Duvel tulip. Bottom of can says 04/29/2016.
A- Pours a hazy medium amber color with a 3/4 inch off-white head that retains well before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a half sheet of sheer surface foam. Semi-resilient lacing leaves large clots behind.
S- Bright fruity hop nose. Mosaic? Amarillo? Has a bit of sweetness as well.
T- Lots of hop flavor. Again, fruity and a bit piney. Mild bitterness and it's a bit watery but not as bad as some other session IPAs out there.
M- Has a crisp bite from the hops with medium carbonation and a light body.
O- One of the better session IPAs out there. Very crushable without giving away too much flavor in the process.
