Poured from an early July can date 16oz:
Appearance: bright, straw-yellow in color, with a nice, sudsy head. Pure white head dissipates after a couple minutes, leaving nice sticky lacing. Body is very hazy, not even close to being visible through the beer.
Aroma: light, crackery malt, some melon and citrus. Maybe a touch of peach ?
taste: light, crisp, biscuity malt up front, followed by some nice citrus and tropical notes, including melon, peach, and a touch of lime zest. Finishes really dry and even a touch funky, like Brett was somehow here. I know it wasn't, but.....
Feel: crisp, with a light to medium body, moderate carbonation, and an extra dry finish.
Overall: a really enjoyable session IPA. Could definitely drink five or six of these.

A: Pours a very lightly hazy pale yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate lemon yellow highlights. The beer has a finger tall foamy white head that reduces to a large patch of thin film covering the entire surface of the beer with a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of tropical/papaya, honeydew melon, citrus/lime, tropical/pineapple, and floral hops over light aromas of slightly sweet grainy malts.
T: Upfront there is a light to moderate flavor of slightly sweet grainy malts. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors tropical/papaya, honeydew melon, citrus/lime, tropical/pineapple, and floral hops (in descending order of strength) which impart a light to moderate amounts of bitterness which fades away pretty quickly.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp.
O: Very easy to drink, very sessionable, and very enjoyable. One of the better session IPAs available since the mouthfeel is not watery like some others. Definitely worth grabbing. One that I could easily have a couple of and I would definitely enjoy again.

Pours a very hazy straw with light silver head
nose- ripe honeydew and a nice melony/tropical bouquet
taste: Aussie hops with juicy melon flavor--sweet honeydew, papaya with tropical character that's hard to pinpoint, possibly pineapple. Tangy/tart, almost lime-like hits the side of the tongue, with a subtle earthy note and crackery malt coming through. Palate is left with a like refreshing tangy, juicy aftertaste, almost liek lemonade
Feel- light, juicy, tangy, tart, bitey
Really refreshing and delicious, a great summer beer from one of my favorite NC breweries. I've been wishing for a Aussie-hopped session IPA, this is rather good. That tanginess is a nice change from the citrus/tropical forward American style.
Cheers

I have to remind myself this is a session beer. It pours a hazy pale gold with a white head and leaves a few traces of lacing behind. The aroma is sweet and fruity with melon and pineapple and a bit of floral hop bitterness. The taste is lightly sweet and tangy with the melon showing up the most with an almost apricot-like aftertaste. There is a mildly bitter finish. The beer, even though it is a low ABV session, has a light to medium body with some pleasant carbonation that accentuates the fruits in the aftertaste. Another solid Ceremonial variant.
